During college, Teresa worked with First Court as an intern. After graduating from the University of Mary with a degree in Criminal Justice, Teresa became a TSA agent for the Department of Homeland Security. Following her move to a charming town in Minnesota called Sleepy Eye, she was hired by First Court as a jury recruiter in August 2018.
According to Teresa, the three most important parts of her job are: “1. Finding the best route to advertise for jurors in the area where our case is. 2. Interviewing jurors and ensuring we get a group of individuals who fit the demographic makeup of the area of each case. 3. Communicating with the team so that I can do my best job on any given case.”
What’s your favorite thing about working at First Court?
My favorite thing about working at First Court is that I am able to have a job I truly enjoy and am able to work remotely. This allows me to stay at home with my three little kids, while also being able to work.
What are two fun facts about you?
I love coffee, and one of my favorite things about traveling is checking out the local coffee shop(s), and I am an avid Green Bay Packer's Fan, which has been interesting since I married a Vikings Fan and live in MN.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? I would love to see Ireland. I've been to Italy and Greece and it's the other European country that I think would be amazing to visit!
What's your biggest dream?
My biggest dream is to retire at a lake cabin somewhere in Northern Minnesota with my husband where my many children and many more grandchildren come to visit me regularly.
What would you order at a coffee shop?
I am a huge seasonal person, so my order would be whatever the seasonal special is.
