Jason Rosen is the founder and principle of Rosen Resolution, PLLC, a mediation firm. Jason utilizes decades of experience as a litigator handling complex civil tort cases to help parties reach effective and efficient settlements through mediation. He specializes in personal injury/wrongful death, municipal liability, police excessive force, employment discrimination, construction site injury, and product liability disputes.

In addition to obtaining a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Willamette University College of Law (emphasizing ADR and negotiation principles), Jason has undertaken significant mediation training throughout his career, including Pepperdine’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution “Mediating the Litigated Case” and King County Dispute Resolution Center 40-Hour Mediation Skills Training. He is a federal court certified mediator for the US District Court for the Western District of Washington, as well as Online Mediator Certified through Mediate.com.

Jason adjusts his mediation style for the case, using an approach that gets the job done—always with empathy and humor. If an evaluative approach is appropriate, he is well-equipped to assess the respective positions of a case. However, strategic discussion and thoughtful questioning is what most often guides parties. Jason has an innate ability to read the room and set the environment for fruitful discussions.

Having represented both plaintiffs and defendants, Jason has seen up close what both sides go through, allowing him to relate and build rapport with all the players. He recognizes that “winning” comes in varied forms, and that a mediated resolution often favors all parties.
