Ryan Liffrig

CEO & Trial Consultant

Ryan received his undergraduate degree from Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. He then worked at a leading medical software company in Madison, Wisconsin, for a spell before joining his future wife at Vanderbilt Law School in Nashville where he obtained his J.D.

Ryan has worked as an attorney for the Indiana Attorney General's office, the Indiana Legislature, and a law firm in the Indianapolis area where he focused on litigation and representing small businesses and schools. In 2017, Ryan joined First Court as a trial consultant, eventually becoming the company’s CEO. During his tenure as CEO, First Court has roughly doubled in size.

His primary focus at First Court leverages his experience with observing and analyzing hundreds of mock juries to help his clients understand how jurors are likely to respond to their case and how they can better communicate the strengths of their case and address their weaknesses with a jury. Ryan conducts many mock trials and focus groups each year to help clients evaluate and get objective honest feedback from prospective jurors on their cases using our Jury Reactions and Private Jury Trials. Ryan also helps clients with jury selection and witness preparation.

Ryan currently serves on the board of the only national professional association for trial consultants, the American Society of Trial Consultants.
