Doug is an attorney, mediator, and professional counselor associate who brings his unusual mix of counseling and litigation skills to his mediations. He believes in getting quickly to the heart of a dispute and then exploring with the parties the barriers to resolution in order to work towards solutions. Doug received his B.A. from the University of Texas and graduated from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1998. He began his legal career at Locke Lord, where he was named partner and practiced until 2009, when he left to start a boutique practice firm. He is currently the Co-Managing Member of Roquemore Skierski PLLC, which represents clients nationally and into Canada, mainly in the fields of commercial litigation, subrogation, and commercial bankruptcy. He is also a professional counselor associate, providing psychological counseling services to a variety of clients, assisting them with myriad issues in their lives.
