Damon is the Director of Information Technology at First Court, where he manages the software development team, oversees all company networking, hardware management, systems integration, cyber security, and technical documentation and compliance, and provides technical support and training for the staff.
Prior to joining First Court in 2014 when the company was just a three-person team, Damon spent a few years establishing a background in education by working with children with special needs, with a focus on early childhood development. He moved on to logistics management for the next 14 years, supporting operations for over one hundred employees across multiple states. During all of this Damon also worked in broadcasting and production, gaining over twenty years of experience with the media, both on-air and in writing and producing music for television and film. He also spent several years contracting and working in the legal field as a trial technician, systems integrator and IT administrator, as well as working with his siblings in emergency medical services, where he received an award from local law enforcement for his actions in crisis response.
Outside of the office Damon likes to volunteer for education-based community outreach programs, particularly with an emphasis on STEM fields. He likes to spend his downtime visiting Japanese gardens, tending his koi pond, writing music in his small home studio, and watching '80s movies with his kids.
