Amanda joined our team in August 2023 and brought with her years of experience in trial consulting. Starting out as a paralegal, Amanda thought that she wanted to become a lawyer until she was introduced to the administrative side of the law. In this position, she helped train lawyers and staff on different trial techniques. Once she was introduced to mock trials, focus groups, witness preparation, and jury selection, she knew that she wanted to become a trial consultant. Amanda then went on to receive her Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology, Emphasis: Industrial & Organizational Psychology. After finishing her degree, Amanda worked as a trial consultant for several focus group and mock trial companies before joining our team.
3 most important responsibilities of your position:
"Being a senior trial consultant involves providing valuable support and expertise to attorneys and their clients during legal proceedings. The role is multifaceted, but three responsibilities are Jury DeSelection and Analysis, Trial Strategy Development, and Communication and Persuasion. My role is to enhance the attorney's ability to present a compelling case, connect with the jury, and ultimately secure a favorable outcome for their client. My responsibilities require me to have a deep understanding of psychology, communication, and the legal process."

"My favorite thing about working at First Court is the teamwork. I appreciate the communication and cohesion that goes into each research project."
What are two fun facts about you?
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
"Anywhere where our kids want to vacation with us."
What's your biggest dream?
"To retire in a nice big house and have my future grandkids spend endless hours reading with me on the porch."

"An iced chai tea latte."
