Steve Eagleton brings a wealth of diverse experience and insight as a neutral to the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). With over 23 years of experience and 1000 mediations completed, Mr. Eagleton has fine-tuned his mediations skills. As the owner of Eagleton Mediation Group since 1997 Mr. Eagleton has mediated a large diversity of disputes. His initial focus of work was in real estate disputes, family law, contracts, and torts. Most recently Mr. Eagleton has focused on labor law, EEOC, contracts, torts, and real estate cases. Mr. Eagleton is a graduate from St. Louis University School of Law. While in law school Mr. Eagleton developed his admiration of the mediation process when he was assigned to be the Mediation Coordinator for Federal Judge George Gunn of the Eight Federal Circuit. Mr. Eagleton also worked in the St. Louis County Prosecutors Office where he was assigned to work with multiple Assistant District Attorneys in evaluating their cases for prosecution or resolution. Since that time Mr. Eagleton has worked with multiple corporate and Federal Agencies in which he was responsible for drafting hundreds of settlement agreements. This experience has provided the expertise to create well written agreements and decisions that memorialize the resolution and settlement of the parties. Since 2011 Mr. Eagleton has also maintained a security clearance with multiple Federal Agencies while performing Mediations, Facilitations, and Arbitrations for these agencies. As a former real estate developer Mr. Eagleton brings a very diverse background to the mediation experience when combined with his legal background. This diversity allows him to evaluate cases from a professional point of view while maintaining complete neutrality.
