Passionate about settling cases, Judith mediates and arbitrates complex commercial cases, specializing in legally complex, high-emotion, high-stakes disputes. She taught Negotiation and Mediation and at Cornell Law School from 1999 to 2014. She serves as a Commerce Court Judge Pro Tem and served as a Referee in the Reliance Insurance Liquidation and Special Master in the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. Judith is a Distinguished Fellow in the International Academy of Mediators, a Fellow in the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a member of the College of Commercial Arbitrators, the Academy of Court Appointed Neutrals, and the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. From 2007 to 2019, Judith chaired the International Standards Commission of the International Mediation Institute in The Hague. She serves on numerous ADR panels including the AAA, AHLA, NAM, EEOC, FINRA, CPR Institute National Panel of Distinguished Neutrals, CIETAC, and the Singapore Mediation Centre. Judith serves as a mediator for the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, the ICC, the Circuit Courts of Maryland, the Bankruptcy Court, Delaware, and the USDC Eastern District, Pennsylvania. A graduate of Cornell Law School, Judith has been voted a SuperLawyer in ADR 2005 through 2021 and is listed in Best Lawyers in America in ADR. In 2016 the Pennsylvania Bar awarded her the Sir Francis Bacon Award for excellence in mediation. She served on the Lower Merion Township Historical Commission for fifteen years and is a Lower Merion Township Human Relations Commissioner.
