David M. Henn is an attorney and registered civil mediator in Indianapolis, Indiana. Over more than 26 years, Mr. Henn has litigated in the state and federal courts in the northern and southern districts of Indiana as well as the northern district of Illinois and the US Immigration Court. Mr Henn has appeared before the Indiana Supreme Court, the Indiana Court of Appeals, and the United States Court of Appeals in Indiana. Mr. Henn has litigated both plaintiff and defense cases in employment disputes including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation under Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA, and other federal and state statutes.
Mr. Henn has defended several major automobile and property/casualty insurance carriers in first and third-party claims, including bad faith and coverage disputes, as well as bodily injury, wrongful death, and arson/casualty claims. As a plaintiff's counsel, Mr. Henn has tried multiple jury trials in both state and federal court. Mr. Henn achieved several multi-million dollar recoveries in personal injury and wrongful death claims and achieved great success as a litigator in plaintiff's employment matters. In addition, Mr. Henn has represented small and mid-sized businesses in transactional matters, including mergers & acquisitions, non-disclosure agreements, non-compete agreements, and trade secret litigation. He has litigated will and trust disputes and commercial real estate disputes (primarily retail, industrial, and professional/medical leasing).
